While preparing for the most challenging competition of his career, a young Olympic sailor is guided by a mysterious voice.
Set in the Dolomite Mountains and Lake Garda, Vènt blends glimpses of Ruggero’s everyday life with an intimate projection of his relationship with the elusive and ever flowing Wind.
Personified as the omniscient narrator, the Wind is a magical presence and guiding force throughout his quest to unite with the element.
Director Biography – Piero M Bressan
Piero is a filmmaker based between London and Paris.
After studying Anthropology and Media at Goldsmiths College, he started his career as a cinematographer before establishing himself as a director.
Aside from commissioned documentaries and commercial projects, Piero produces and directs his personal work.
His deep curiosity for people drives him to develop projects capturing the inner world of a subject through an abstract and personal interpretation of reality.
Piero’s work combines a minimalistic and pure cinematic style with a non-linear storytelling approach creating a magical atmosphere.
