Another bucket list adventure ticked off!
On February 23, 2021 Sam Thom & Phil Robertson (Driver of SailGP Canada) completed an epic 110km mission from Great Barrier Island to Auckland on their Wingfoil boards!
After a summer of training and waiting for the perfect conditions, a strong North Easterly breeze provided the ultimate downwind foil home from the largest island in the Hauraki Gulf back to
New Zealand’s biggest city.
