On June 29th, we screened at Fraglia Vela Malcesine as a special feature of the fourth edition of the Foiling Film Festival, the beautiful documentary “Chasing Horizons” chronicles the remarkable journey of waterwoman Olivia Piana
It was offered to all participants of Foiling Week 2024.
In this extraordinary feat, Olivia sets a new world record by navigating from Peniche to Sagres in Portugal, covering an astounding 287.4 kilometers in just 14 hours and 36 minutes. Using only her SUP foil surfboard and a paddle, she harnesses the raw power of the wind and waves. Her achievement is unprecedented for both men and women.
